| Marker Lights
It is highly recommended that you replace all of your trailer's original running and tail lights with LED lights. Not only are they much brighter, and brighter=safer, they typically come with a discrete ground wire. Having each light grounded by wire means your lights will work consistently, unlike the original Scotty lights which grounded through the skin and might work today, but not tomorrow. There are many vintage looking LED light fixtures available.
Early Scottys featured a tear-drop shaped marker light. Later they moved to Arrow marker lights. Both types are still obtainable. If you have anything to add, please e-mail me. Reproductions of vintage originals |
