Memorial Weekend in North Carolina - 5/24-5/28 2012Camp in beautiful Boone, NC which is along the Blue Ridge Parkway in the mountains of nw NC. We camped at Flintlock in 2011 and liked it so well that some are going back in 2012. If you are going, try for sites 24-29 which are along the river and, most importantly, near the bathrooms! The campground closes November 1 and they fill up completely for Memorial weekend so if you are coming, best get your reservation in before they close for the year. They'll reopen April 1.
